Vinicio recognizes the importance of knowing more about Free, Prior and Informed Consent and his rights which is why he attended the workshop held in Macas, Ecuador towards the end of the year. Vinicio enjoyed being able to share different experiences with other indigenous leaders and community members. He plans to communicate the lessens learned back to his community this way there is more knowledge generated regarding indigenous rights.
