EO's CEFO seeks to scale a meaningful connectivity model for transnational Indigenous territories in Ecuador and Peru, with a long-term vision: connected communities with the skills, governance structures, and control needed to manage their own technological tools.<\/p>

This vision has grown from the ground up: from our first community connectivity experience in La Mancolona, Mexico, to building a transboundary network that now connects Siekopaai communities across Ecuador and Peru.<\/p>

Our ambition is for connectivity to contribute directly to Amazon conservation, cultural revitalization, Indigenous education, digital safety, and new economic opportunities led by communities themselves. This is not only about connecting remote places; it is about strengthening Peoples who already protect some of the most important territories for the future of the planet, weaving biological and digital corridors across borders.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

What We Do<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

EO's CEFO Ind\u00edgena works with Indigenous Peoples in the Amazon to transform connectivity into a tool for autonomy, territorial protection, and community learning. We support the deployment of internet networks managed by the communities themselves, while building local capacities in telecommunications, energy, digital safety, environmental monitoring, and responsible technology use.<\/p>

Our work starts from a simple idea: a community network is not just infrastructure. It is a meeting point between generations, knowledge systems, and territories. That is why every connectivity process is built together with Indigenous authorities, women, youth, and local technicians, strengthening four strategic pillars: territorial governance and environmental monitoring; Indigenous women\u2019s leadership and community education; digital safety and technological sovereignty; and financial inclusion and sustainable energy.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Indigenous woman from the Kichwa Otavalo people. Biologist by training, with a specialization in Biodiversity Conservation.
