Logo by Wio Gualinga (Ecuador) – I am of the Kichwa nationality of Ecuador and I come from the Kichwa Native People of Sarayaku located in the province of Pastaza. I am a communicator in various institutional strengthening and local development programs focused on the protection of indigenous territories and the defense of nature. For this work I have based myself on the importance of technology as a tool and the cultural vision of Indigenous Peoples.

Logo by Samai Gualinga of Kichwa (Ecuador) – From Ecuador of the Kichwa Native People of Sarayaku. I am part of the Communication Team of the Sarayaku Governing Council (called Waktachik Communications). The meaning of this logo and the inspiration comes from the Kuan Sisa, a representative flower of the Amazon known as Heliconia, it has an ancient history.
Logo by: Ronaldo David Chugcho Grefa (Ecuador)
The logo consists of two animals. This is representative for our Indigenous Peoples accompanied by the initials «CEFO» and the word «INDIGENOUS» taking into consideration that one of the animals is the tiger, symbol of the strength and courage of our Indigenous Peoples. It shows that despite everything, our peoples have strong beliefs and courage in continuing to maintain our culture, customs. The Toucan, in this image is an animal that is known by all our peoples, demonstrating that it is a symbol of beauty.
Logo by: Luis Javier Matabanchoy Muchavisoy – Of the Inga Peoples, Cabildo Inga Binacional Casuarito Vichada (Colombia).
Logo by: Luis González (Venezuela)
In the center of the image there is a window in the form of a monitor and the keyboard of a computer. It is the representation of a window of hope for the indigenous nations, which projects from the inside out the acronym CEFO and the image of a man and a woman from the symbolism of Wayuu mathematics. The figure of the man in the form of a square (straight lines) and the woman in the form of a circle and spiral (curved lines), both human figures holding a spear, which means gender equality. In the background you can see the colors purple, yellow and red representing united in diversity. On the sides of the monitor you can see some texts that represent the collection of texts in different colors symbolizing diversity of thought, different worldviews, languages, cultures and law, under the need to systematize the wisdom of the peoples necessary to transcend in time and space, without forget orality, both elements (book and computer) appropriate from technology of non-Indigenous People for the defense of the territory and everything that it’s made up of: water, flora, fauna and biodiversity. In the upper part a rising sun is visualized, representing justice «the sun rises for all without distinction» and in the center of the sun, a plant that indicates a network, the root is the organization and the leaves present the integration of each people in defense of their rights. That plant with a well-sustained root of the earth, that not even floods and strong winds can uproot. It symbolizes that Indigenous Peoples can resist any threat that affects them.
Logo by: Elvys Passoiri Borari (Brazil)
Logo by Celeste Guillén Ledezma (Bolivia): My proposal tries to reflect the resistance of Indigenous Peoples, through full knowledge of their rights, but also the way they have resisted during these 500 years, of oppression. They have done it with bows and arrows, which is represented through the duality of the chacha warmi and to the nature to which it defends. This image is represented with the leaf shape and has a brown color. This is because I wanted to highlight the relationship Indigenous Peoples have to their lands.
Logo by: Bryan Shiguango (Ecuador).
Logo by: Andrea Amancaya Pardo Mattaz (Bolivia).
Logo By Abel Christian Apaza Amanquiei (Peru) – This design is made with colors that evoke nature such as: green, brown and yellow. The proposal refers to the fundamental pillars of the CEFO. It consists of an Indigenous Person in a wooden canoe crossing virtuality (surfing the web), within it we can see an online network (which refers to the network of experts in human, indigenous, environmental and other rights) that also appear to be shining stars. The entire journey is under a guide that is symbolized by the hand that covers the entire design and that in turn represents a typical animal of the Amazon basin. You can observe the serpent, which also recalls the Amazon River as you meander through the vegetation. Finally, the logo is accompanied by a cursor that symbolizes the virtuality of the CEFO.
