
About the Course:
The course has been developed within the framework of the «Resource Hub to Strengthening the Rights of Indigenous Peoples» project (CEFO Indígena) implemented by Equitable Origin, the Coordinator of Indigenous Organizations of the Amazon Basin (COICA), the Regional Indigenous Council, and Popular de Xpujil (CRIPX) and the Indigenous Tourism Network of Mexico (RITA).
The course will be taught on the COICA virtual education platform and will offer 22 places for indigenous participants from Mexico, Peru, and Ecuador.
Objective:
Strengthen the knowledge of the Indigenous participants to guide their communities and organizations in consultation processes on issues that affect their lives and their territories and to make the defense of their rights effective, pointing out the national and international mechanisms available to file complaints of violations committed against you.
