The «Comisión de Pueblos Andinos, Amazónicos y Afroperuanos, Ambiente y Ecología» of Peru, organized a meeting between AIDESEP indigenous organizations, the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Energy and Mines, and the Ministry of the Environment, as well as civil society (NGO). This was sonde in order to discuss the pre-opinion of the amendment to the Law for the Protection of Isolated Indigenous Peoples.
