This section brings together testimonies, actions, and voices of Indigenous women from the Siekopaai Nation, who live in the basins of the Putumayo, Napo, and Aguarico Rivers—territories that extend across the Ecuadorian and Peruvian Amazon. From these riverbanks, Siekopaai women have organized to use their voices and connect communities through community networks, strengthening their identity.

Their stories share experiences of defending life and territory, the struggle for self-determination, and the transmission of ancestral knowledge. They invite us to discover new ways of understanding the world and strengthening culture through education and community communication, while consolidating practices of care and unity that reflect cultural continuity, collective memory, and the relationship with the land.

Meet the Siekopaai women’s associations and support their struggle!
